Chapter 466
Ethan Roscente's fingertips traced the dampness at the corner of her eye, his lips curling into a cruel smirk. "Even if you hide at the ends of the earth, you can't escape my grasp." His low voice was like a demon's whisper. "Sophia Lowell, you're destined to be mine in this lifetime."
Every word cut into her heart like a sharp blade.
The phrase "bound to me for eternity" ignited her fury.
Sophia suddenly lashed out, her nails raking across his face. "Ethan Roscente! I hate you!" she screamed hysterically. "Every day with you is torture!"
Her nails left bloody trails down his back, and a wound bloomed on his chin.
"Do you have any idea how happy I've been this past month?" She pounded her fists against his chest wildly. "Sebastian Valdemar is a thousand—no, a million—times better than you! We're together every day, and we're going to have three children!"
A vein throbbed at Ethan's temple, his knuckles turning white.
"Shut up!" he roared, pinning her down.
"You think a rotten man like you has the right to touch me?" Sophia sank her teeth into his hand. "First you sleep with Bianca Savigny, then you come crawling back to me? Disgusting!"
Ethan's pupils constricted sharply. "Who told you I slept with Bianca?"
"She. Sent. Me. The. Photos. Herself!" Sophia spat each word, her eyes filled with revulsion.
His expression darkened dangerously. "Hugo Roscente was the one with her that night." He gripped her chin. "After being drugged, I spent the whole night in an ice bath. Then I went to you—and what did you give me?"
A cold laugh escaped him. "A cold shoulder. The silent treatment."
Sophia scoffed. "Liar. Keep spinning your tales. First Hugo, next you'll invent some 'Shadow Roscente'?"
"You don't believe me?" His voice dropped to a deadly calm.
"Are you worthy of belief?" She glared at him defiantly.
Ethan's gaze turned predatory as his thumb pressed harshly against her lips. "This mouth..." His voice roughened. "It's only cute when you're begging for mercy."
He leaned in, his breath hot against her ear. "Tonight, I'll teach you what it means to be bedridden for three days straight."
