Chapter 124

Tiffany Roscente clenched her fists, her nails digging deep into her palms. "Someone like Sophia Lowell—Professor Orlando will see her true colors eventually."

"But Sophia, she..."

Isabella Valentine suddenly hesitated, her gaze flickering. Tiffany immediately grabbed her wrist. "What about her?"

Isabella bit her lip, her eyes reddening.

"Bella!" Tiffany stamped her foot impatiently. "We're best friends! What can't you tell me?"

"Tiff..." Isabella's voice trembled. "If I say this, I'm afraid..."

"Just say it!" Tiffany's eyes gleamed—her instincts told her this was the leverage she needed to take Sophia down.

Isabella took a deep breath. "You have to promise me absolute secrecy. Especially that you won't let your uncle know I told you."

Tiffany nodded eagerly, raising three fingers. "I swear!"

"Sophia and your uncle..." Isabella suddenly covered her face, tears spilling between her fingers. "They've been..."

"What?!"

Tiffany froze as if struck by lightning.

"They aren't even related by blood!" Isabella lifted her head abruptly, hatred burning in her eyes. "I saw them... at a hotel..."

Tiffany's face turned deathly pale, her lips trembling.

She remembered the always-askew collar of Sophia's blouse in her uncle's office. The way his gaze lingered on Sophia during family gatherings—seemingly casual, but never accidental.

"That bitch!" Tiffany shrieked suddenly. "She must have seduced him!"

Isabella wiped her tears and nodded. "With that face of hers, who knows how many beds she's crawled into..."

Tiffany trembled violently, Sophia's perpetually mocking smile flashing in her mind. She grabbed her purse. "I'm telling Grandpa!"

"No!" Isabella frantically pulled her back. "You promised me!"

Tiffany shook her off, fury blazing in her eyes. "This scandal has to be exposed!"
