Chapter 467
"Have you lost your mind?"
Her pupils constricted sharply, nails digging deep into her palms.
The man chuckled darkly, his thumb tracing circles at her waist. "Why don't we find out?"
His rough hand slid downward along her curves, and Sophia arched her back abruptly. "Stop... the workers are right outside—"
"Then bite down hard."
"..."
Was that really the issue here?
The scorching heat of his touch burned through the fabric. Her entire body tensed, the tips of her ears flushing crimson. "Ethan Roscente, you're despicable."
He leaned in, capturing her feverish earlobe between his teeth, his voice gravelly. "Who was the one begging me for this before?"
Sophia's breath hitched.
His iron grip tightened around her as his voice dropped to a dangerous whisper. "I'll pretend I didn't hear what you said earlier. Apologize now, and I might let this slide."
"I don't care if you're angry."
Defiant flames flickered in her eyes, her nails nearly piercing the muscles of his arm.
Ethan's gaze darkened. He seized her lips in a bruising kiss.
Sophia clenched her teeth.
Then his knuckles brushed against a sensitive spot. A shudder wracked her body, a whimper escaping her throat. "Ah—"
"Beautiful."
He intensified the pressure mercilessly, his lips grazing her trembling mouth. "Last chance. Apologize."
Tears pooled in her eyes, but she lifted her chin stubbornly.
His chest heaved violently before his grip on her waist turned punishing. "I have plenty of ways to make you yield."
Everywhere his fingers traveled, tremors followed.
She shook her head desperately.
He advanced relentlessly.
Until she was sobbing, gasping for air.
"I did nothing wrong! Why should I apologize?"
"Sneaking around with another man? Humiliating me in public? And you dare say you did nothing wrong?"
"I didn’t!"
"Then let’s see which is stronger—" His palm suddenly dipped lower, "your stubborn mouth... or this."
"Don’t!" She scrambled to block him.
But he overpowered her effortlessly. When his hand pressed against her abdomen, his brows furrowed abruptly. His gaze dropped instinctively.
