Chapter 320
"I suppose I owe you a proper apology."
Dominic Valrose forced a hollow smile. "No need. You've traveled far and just signed a billion-dollar contract. We'll be working together—"
"What's trivial to you is everything to me."
Before Dominic could react, Ethan Roscente's boot connected with his chest.
The impact sent Dominic crashing through the floor-to-ceiling window. Glass shattered as his body slammed onto the ground, blood spraying from his lips.
Crimson droplets bloomed across the carpet.
Ethan advanced slowly, dress shoes crunching over broken glass. Dominic's terrified gaze darted to Zachary Evans by the door—only to watch him shut it with icy indifference.
"I told you Sophia Lowell is mine." Ethan's heel ground into Dominic's ribs with enough force to snap bone. "Did you think I was joking?"
Dominic writhed, eyes rolling back in agony. Finally understanding he'd provoked a sleeping dragon, he shook his head frantically, choking on incoherent whimpers.
"Which hand touched her?"
Trembling, Dominic raised his right hand.
A sickening crack echoed as Ethan snapped his wrist.
Outside, Zachary shuddered at the bloodcurdling screams. When he reentered, Ethan's eyes burned with murderous rage.
"Mr. Roscente, he'll die at this rate!"
"Let him."
Surveying the mangled figure on the floor, Zachary blurted: "Miss Lowell is still missing. A young woman alone at night—"
Ethan's pupils contracted. Sanity returned. He tossed aside a bloodied handkerchief. "Turn Hong Kong upside down."
"Surveillance footage is being reviewed. We'll—"
Five minutes later at the police station, officers informed them Sophia had just been picked up.
