Chapter 304
Ethan Roscente had several premium projects that perfectly matched Vivian Ashcroft's current status. Initially, he worried these opportunities might be too risky for someone who had just risen to fame. But after seeing Vivian skyrocket to stardom through the reality show, he changed his mind.
His phone buzzed on the nightstand.
A message from Ethan popped up: "Awake?"
Sophia Lowell rubbed her eyes and replied, "Just woke up."
"Get ready. Let's meet."
"Where?"
He sent the location of a café. Sophia responded with an OK emoji and headed to the bathroom.
Fifteen minutes later, she pushed open the glass door of the café.
To her surprise, Ethan hadn’t arrived yet. Instead, she ran into Sebastian Valdemar.
"Sebastian?" Sophia blinked in surprise at the man walking in.
He seemed equally startled, his lips curving into a gentle smile. "Breakfast hours at the hotel were over. I have a meeting soon, so I stopped by for coffee."
Sophia glanced at the freshly served juice and sandwich on her table. Since Ethan wasn’t here yet, this was the perfect chance to thank Sebastian for saving her yesterday.
"Care to join me for breakfast?"
"Don’t mind if I do." Sebastian took the seat across from her.
Just as the waiter set down his coffee, a figure suddenly rushed over. Scalding liquid flew toward Sophia’s face.
"Watch out!"
Sebastian shot to his feet, yanking her behind him. The coffee splashed across his pristine white shirt, a few burning droplets landing on the back of Sophia’s hand.
"Did it burn you?" He urgently inspected her hand.
"Don’t touch her!" Tiffany Roscente slapped their hands apart, her face twisted with fury. "Sophia, you shameless bitch!"
Sophia’s gaze turned icy. "Seek professional help if you’re unwell."
Tiffany trembled with rage as she watched Sebastian shield Sophia. "First, you seduce my brother. Now you’re after Sebastian? Are you that desperate for men?"
"Watch your mouth," Sophia snapped.
"Hit a nerve?" Tiffany shrieked hysterically. "You’re nothing but a cheap, promiscuous—"
