Chapter 163

Felix Roland nearly fell out of his seat laughing after hearing Ethan Roscente's story.

"Sophia Lowell really got you good!" He slapped his thigh, tears of laughter forming at the corners of his eyes. "The mighty Ethan Roscente, taken down by a drunk driving report!"

Ethan shot him a frosty glare.

Unfazed, Felix slid into the driver's seat. "This has to make the top ten news stories of the year in New York!"

"Find it amusing?" Ethan's voice was icy.

"Hilarious!" Felix buckled his seatbelt, still wheezing with laughter. "I can just picture you in handcuffs—"

The car window rolled down before he could finish.

"Officer," Ethan nodded toward a traffic cop on the sidewalk. "This man's driving under the influence."

Felix's grin froze.

"Damn it, Ethan! You're serious?!" He whipped his head around just as the officer approached.

Calmly stepping out, Ethan dialed Zachary Evans.

"Instant karma," he remarked coolly before walking away without a backward glance.

Felix was still cursing as the cop yanked him from the car. The breathalyzer lit up red immediately.

When Zachary arrived, he found Felix being loaded into a police cruiser.

"Mr. Roland is...?"

"Drunk driving." Ethan settled into the backseat, his tone as casual as discussing the weather.

Zachary inhaled sharply. "What a coincidence..."

"I reported him."

The car fell silent.

Zachary's grip on the steering wheel tightened as he stole a glance at his boss through the rearview mirror—this was next-level petty revenge.

Meanwhile, Sophia Lowell was having lunch with Vivian Ashcroft.

Her phone buzzed with Theodore Orlando's name flashing on the screen.

"Han Palace Restaurant tomorrow noon. They requested that location." Theodore's voice came through the receiver. "I'll have our design director accompany you."

Sophia's chopsticks paused mid-air. "Understood."

"Remember," he added after a beat, "never compromise."

After hanging up, Vivian leaned in. "What's wrong? You've been distracted lately."

"Important client meeting tomorrow." Sophia stirred her soup absently.

Vivian gave her shoulder an encouraging pat. "With your skills, you'll nail it!"

Sophia forced a smile, her heart heavy. She hadn't told Vivian the truth—tomorrow, she'd be facing Ethan Roscente.
