Chapter 493
Harrison's eyebrows lifted slightly in surprise.
Evelyn, however, remained composed as she gazed into the distance. "Yes, I've made my decision."
"But fashion design is your passion. Are you really walking away from it?"
"Harrison, I'm not abandoning my dreams. I'm simply rearranging my priorities. Besides," she turned to face him with a determined smile, "I've already planned everything out."
"Once I start university, I'll major in business administration while taking fashion design electives."
Harrison nodded slowly. "If this is what you want, you have my full support."
"You're amazing, Harrison." Evelyn's eyes shone with gratitude.
"Have you chosen which university to attend?"
"For my bachelor's, probably Frenda. But for my master's..." Her voice grew wistful. "Coronia University has the best design program. I'd give anything to study there."
"I have no doubt you'll make it happen."
Dominic's condition had been critical, but the Kingsley family's extensive connections secured him a matching donor heart in record time.
The surgery went smoothly, followed by years of intensive rehabilitation.
Now, after what felt like an eternity, Dominic had finally regained his health.
On the day of Evelyn's undergraduate graduation ceremony, Dominic personally handed her an acceptance letter from Coronia University.
"Evelyn, I know you never stopped dreaming these past few years." His voice was thick with emotion. "Now that I'm well again, it's time for you to chase those dreams."
Tears welled in Evelyn's eyes as she clutched the precious envelope. She threw her arms around her brother. "Thank you, Dominic."
Just then, Elliot, Julian, and Harrison approached.
Over the years, Julian had signed with a major record label and successfully debuted as a singer.
Elliot, with his extraordinary hacking skills, had been recruited by the National Cybersecurity Agency.
As for Harrison, he'd taken the reins at Whitmore Enterprises, becoming its youngest CEO.
"Congratulations, Evelyn!" Elliot was the first to speak, presenting an elegantly wrapped box. "Your graduation gift. Open it."
Evelyn took the package curiously. "What is it, Elliot?"
"You'll see." He grinned mysteriously.
Inside lay the keys to a sleek Porsche. "Do you like it?"
Evelyn's face fell instantly. "Elliot! You know I failed my driving test twice! What am I supposed to do with this?"
Clearing his throat awkwardly, Elliot tried to recover. "Consider it motivation. You'll pass next time."
Julian couldn't suppress his laughter. "Since Dominic and Elliot brought gifts, I can't be left out." He handed her another set of keys.
"It's a penthouse across from Coronia University. Fully furnished and ready for you to move in."
Evelyn beamed. "Julian, you're the best!"
Elliot immediately protested. "My car cost over four hundred thousand! That's twice what Julian's tiny apartment is worth. Clearly, I'm the better brother here."
"Your gift lacks thoughtfulness," Julian countered smoothly. "Mine shows I actually considered what Evelyn needs."
The brothers continued bickering as Evelyn clutched her gifts, overwhelmed by their love and support.
