Chapter 15

Eileen was ecstatic. "I like Seven. If he becomes my daddy, I'm all in."

Thinking about today. Kyle realizedJonathan was impressive. "Mommy's been single for so long. If she likes him. I'm not gonna object. But isn't he disabled? We can't have Mommy taking care of him forever."

Zachary chimed in. "Mommy said he'll be able to walk in two weeks. He's not really disabled."

Kyle raised a serious concern. "We might all accept him, but isn't he suffering from amnesia? If he's already married with kids, he can'tbe with Mommy."

The three siblings sighed simultaneously, resting their chins on their hands.Making their mom happy was proving to be quite a challenge.

Eileen looked disappointed. She really liked Jonathan and wanted him to be their dad.

Kathie changed into fresh clothes and went to the bathroom, where Jonathan was soaking in the tub, unmoving.

"Hey, I need to wash my hair," Jonathan said.

"You sure have a lot of demands," Kathie said impatiently.

Kathie placed a towel on the edge of the tub and had him lean his head back.

She was wearing a loose nightgown, and as she bent over, the hem lifted slightly. Through the gap, Jonathan caught a glimpse of her toned stomach and pink underwear. Her breasts were quite full, not at all what one would expect from a mother of three.

Sensing his gaze. Kathie looked down and caught him in the act. "Seven,do you want to lose your eyes?"

Jonathan looked innocent. "What are you talking about? I don't understand. Should I close my eyes?"

Kathie was at a loss for words. She had only seen him look up, which didn't necessarily mean he was staring at anything specific.

She adjusted her clothes, tucking her top into her pants, which only accentuated her perfect figure.

Jonathan's eyes were glued to her rounded breasts, filled with undisguised admiration.

"Don't get any ideas, or Ill make sure you lose your manhood," Kathie warned.

c shook his head. She had a face that could launch a thousand ships, yet she spoke such harsh words.

When she was silent, she was serene. But once she spoke, it was like the end of the world.

"Can we start now?" Jonathan asked.

"You better close your eyes, or if soap gets in them, you'll be crying again."

Jonathan felt she was using this as an excuse to get back at him. "That's a threat."

"My conscience is clear," she said, squeezing shampoo into her hand. Jonathan obediently closed his eyes to avoid any mishaps.

He had expected Kathie to be rough, but she was surprisingly gentle. Her fingers massaged his scalp, making him relax completely.

Jonathan was shirtless, his head tilted back. From his neck down, his muscular body was free of any excess fat, his chest well-developed, and his skin glistening with water, giving off an indescribable allure.

He was tall and handsome, and she had even dreamed about them making love. The thought made her blush.

Feeling the movements on his head stop, Jonathan opened his eyes and met Kathie's gaze, filled with desire.

Jonathan smirked. "Are you planning to do something to me?"

Kathie snapped out of it and increased the pressure of her hands. "Stop talking nonsense. Close your eyes, I'm going to rinse."

Jonathan winced and closed his eyes. She was ruthless, not only denying everything but also bullying him.

Kathie finished washing his hair, gave his body a quick rinse, and helped him back into his wheelchair, then wheeled him to his room.

"Lie down. I'm going to prepare your medicine," she said.

"Are you going to add more bitter herbs? I didn't do anything wrong. You were the one teasing me."

Kathie wanted to poison him mute. How could there be such an annoying man in the world, who played innocent after taking advantage?

"If you don't want it to be bitter, keep quiet. I know what I'm doing,"she ad retorted.

Kathie went to the kitchen to prepare the medicine and called for Zachary, the little hacker genius. Despite his young age, he could crack a system in the time it took to eat a lollipop.

"Zachary. Mommy needs detailed information and a phone number for Tom from the Coleman Family. How long will it take?" Kathie said.

Zachary waved his small hand. "Piece of cake, five minutes tops. But why do you need it?"

"I'm just curious. Let me know when you find it." Kathie didn't want the kids to know until she had everything figured out.

She checked on the medicinein the kitchen, and soon Zachary had the information.

"Mommy, it's done," Zachary said proudly.

Kathie quickly came out. She saw on the computer that Tom was even fatter than before and completely bald. Looking at her three kids with their thick hair, there was no way they were related to him.

She hadn't refuted it at the time because Tom had been at the scene, so he must know something.

Zachary handed her a piece of paper. "Mommy, here's the phone number."

Kathie ruffled his hair. "Zachary, you're amazing."

Even though she didn't believe Tom could be the father of her three kids, she was still nervous. What if he was? Kathie went to the backyard to make the call, her heart pounding.

Tom answered quickly. "Hello? Who is this?"

Kathie took a deep breath. "Mr. Coleman, this is Kathie. Four years ago, I married Randy at the Aurora Grand Hotel. You attended as a guest.Do you remember?"

Her heart pounded so hard it feltlike it would leap out of her chest.

The other end responded excitedly, "Of course I remember."

His voice was so enthusiastic. Could something have really happened?

Kathie suppressed her unease. She had to ask him in person.

"I'd like to meet you tomorrow to talk about that night. Are you available?"she said.

"Sure,anytime."

"Great, I'll send you the location tomorrow."

"I'm looking forward to it."

Kathie felt heavy-hearted. His reaction was unusual. They had only met twice and had no real connection, yet he spoke as if they were close.

He was even looking forward to meeting.

If he were a stranger, he wouldn't say such things.

This feeling made her uneasy. If her three kids were really his, Kathie would be devastated.

After calming herself, Kathie took the medicine to Jonathan. As she approached the door, she heard Kyle interrogating him1. "Seven, are you married? If you have a wife and kids, you can't deceive our mom."

Jonathan was helpless. When had he ever deceived their mom? Apart from pretending to have amnesia and hiding his identity, he had been honest.

"I'm not married," he replied.

Zachary asked. "But you have amnesia. How do you know you're not married? Are you lying to us?"

Jonathan frowned. Zachary was a tough nutto crack. He almost fell for his trick.

"I just have a feeling. If I had a wife and kids, I'd remember."

Eileen was also worried. "Seven, even though I really like you, if you have a family,we can't break it up."

Jonathan firmly assured them, "I definitely don't."

"So, what kind of woman do you like? Do you think our mom, who's a total beauty, is your type?" Kyle asked.

Jonathan rubbed his forehead. They were so straightforward, clearly trying to set him up with Kathie.

"Your mom is great, but she's too fierce. I like gentle and obedient girls.like Eileen here," Jonathan replied.

Eileen beamed and hugged his arm. "I like you the most too."

Kyle shook his head and looked at Eileen, sighing, "You get infatuated every time you see a handsome guy. Aren't you afraid he might be a kidnapper and take you away?"
