Serena decided to just go for it and grabbed Frederick's belt with both hands.

"Stop!"

Frederick was caught off guard by Serena's bold move.

If it had been any other woman, he would've kicked her out by now,but this was Serena, and he just couldn't do it.

As they were locked in this awkward moment, the front door of the villa swung open.

Charlotte came in, pushing a wheelchair with Anouk in it, and they were both stunned to see Frederick and Serena on the sofa.

The two of them looked disheveled, making all sorts of suggestive sounds and breaths.

Especially Serena, who was kneeling between Frederick's legs, her head right at his crotch.

From Charlotte's angle, it looked like they were getting pretty cozy.

Her eyes were glued to them, and she stopped dead in her tracks, like her legs were cemented to the floor.

At that moment, Charlotte felt her heart break. She knew that after her divorce from Frederick, he and Serena would probably get together, but she didn't think he'd move on so fast.Just a bit ago on the phone, she had sensed something was up between

them.and on her way over, she tried to convince herself it was just Serena trying to mess with her.

But the reality was even more shocking than she had imagined.

Charlotte didn't want to see any more and turned to leave. but Anouk grabbed her hand.

Anouk shouted angrily, "You two, get over here!"

The two. lost in their moment, finally noticed Charlotte and Anouk standing at the door.

Serena glared angrily, wanting to see who was ruining her plans.

When she saw Charlotte's face, she sneered.

But when she looked down and saw Anouk in the wheelchair, she couldn't help but tremble.

Anouk had always been critical of Serena, and the fear she instilled in her was still there.

Taking advantage of Serena's distraction, Frederick finally got his belt back from her hands.

Frederick quickly zipped up and fastened his belt.

"Didn't you hear what I said? Get over here now." Frederick stood up and walked over to Anouk, slightly hunched.He wasn't trying to look submissive on purpose; his body's reaction hadn't calmed down, and standing straight would be awkward. But even so, his eyes were locked on Charlotte, his gaze almost burning her,making his already heated body even hotter.

Charlotte hid behind Anouk, feeling the intense aggression in Frederick's eyes.

If Anouk weren't there, Frederick might have jumped on her right then and there.

"Kneel!"

Anouk shouted angrily.

She said with disappointment, "Is this how our family raised you? Neither your grandfather nor your father ever made such a mess of things,but you.Where is your upbringing?"

Frederick lowered his head in silence.

He couldn't tell Anouk that he'd been drugged tonight.

Especially since he had no clue who did it.

Even though Serena was scared of Anouk, she saw this as her chance to cozy up to Frederick.

She leaned weakly on Frederick and said, "Grandma,Frederick is the head of the Percy Family. Making him kneel like this will make him lose his dignity. What will people think if this gets out?" Anouk wasn't having it. Her eyes were sharp and shrewd. "I'm not your grandma. I've never seen a young girl like you-so shameless and low." "Mrs. Anouk Percy, even if you don't like me, you can't insult me like that,"Serena said,starting to cry.

Frederick frowned,feeling a headache coming on.

He stepped forward, blocking Anouk's view of Serena, and said, "Just scold me. Serena is pregnant and can't handle the stress."

"So this is how you treated Charlotte all the time. No wonder she wanted to divorce you. Frederick, you really lack the responsibility of a Percy Family heir," Anouk said, heartbroken.

Frederick cared for Serena because she was pregnant, but he didn't know that Charlotte was also pregnant.

How could Charlotte not be heartbroken being treated like this?

Charlotte just watched them coldly, trying to keep her expression unchanged.

Seeing Frederick defending her in front of Anouk, Serena felt pleased and emboldened.

"I know I'm not good with words and can't please you, but you really misunderstand me. Like tonight, it wasn't my intention," Serena said,glancing at Charlotte.

"Ever since we left Charlotte's ward, Frederick and I have felt strange,our bodies heating up uncontrollably. I barely have the strength to speak now." Charlotte never imagined that Serena could be so shameless. Charlotte's face was cold, her gaze sharp as she looked at Serena. "What do you mean? Are you suggesting I drugged you and Frederick?" Even if she was getting a divorce, she wouldn't let someone else cuckold her.

Serena said matter-of-factly, "But who else could it be? I'm newly pregnant and in a dangerous period. If we were drugged and had intense sex,wouldn't I lose the baby? If I hadn't resisted, my baby and I might not have survived."

She knew Frederick wouldn't expose her now, even though she was lying.

Sure enough, Frederick just frowned buat didn't refute.

After all, it concerned Serena's reputation, and with Anouk and Charlotte catching them, there was no point in delving into details.

But he felt something strange in his heart.

He had always thought Serena was pure and straightforward, but he didn't expect her to lie so calmly.

"I won't admit to something I didn't do. As for you, I don't know,"Charlotte said, not falling into her trap.

For accusations, the burden of proof lay with the accuser. If she fell into the trap of proving her innocence, it would be like admitting guilt, and she could never clear her name.
