Chapter 11
"Isabella, it's me!" Michael had planned to surprise her, but it ended up scaring her instead.
Seeing Isabella so frightened, he instantly regretted it.
He pulled her into a hug, gently moving her hands away from her ears,and whispered, "Isabella, it's me, Michael. I'm sorry. Don't be scared."
The familiar scent of him started to calm her down.
She leaned against his chest, crying and accusing, "I'm terrified of the dark,and you scared me to death."
Michael had been sulking when he saw her getting close with Eric, but now,seeing her so scared, his heart broke, especially sinceit was his fault.That little bit of jealousy was long gone.
He helped her into the car and turned on the interior light.
The soft glow gradually calmed her down, and she asked, "Why are you here?"
"I came home and you weren't there. Robert said you were working late.so I came over," Michael explained. "Did you miss me?"
Isabella wasn't sure if she missed him. She just felt really disappointed every time he didn't reply to her messages.
"I sent you messages, but you didn't reply," she blurted out,lightly complaining.
"This project I'm on is super confidential. We've been in complete lockdown for the past three days, no cell signal," Michael explained.
Isabella covered his mouth. "If it's confidential, then don't say it. I get it.
Really."
He grabbed her hand and kissed it. "Isabella, can you tell me why you're afraid of the dark?"
"When I was little, the place I lived with my grandma was pretty rundown.No streetlights at night, lots of dark corners. Something really..." Isabella's face turned pale, unsure how to continue.
Michael interrupted her, "I'm sorry, Isabella. You don't have to say it. All the bad stuff is behind us. From now on, I won't let you be in the dark again, and I won't let you be afraid."
Michael felt like he was messing up tonight, always doing the wrong thing.He decided to just hold her in his arms. Under the dim light,he traced her delicate features with his hand, gently singing.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are! Up above the world so high, Like a diamond in the sky..."
Isabella was curious. "How do you know this nursery rhyme?"
Michael asked, "Is there something special about it?"
Isabella replied, "It's a lullaby from my grandma's hometown.When I was little and scared of the dark, my grandma would sing it to me. She told me that the darker the night, the brighter the stars."
Michael said, "Someone sang this song to me when I was scared too."
They embraced in the small space of the car,softly singing the song together.
Lying in Michael's arms, Isabella felt that this Michael was still very approachable, like a warm, fluffy dog.
The warm moment didn't last long. Michael leaned close to her ear and
whispered, "Isabella, do you know? I've missed you so much these past few days. Making a newlywed man sleep alone is the-cruelest torture in the world."
His magnetic voice resonated in her ear, like an electric current, spreading from her ear to her entire body, making her feel a tingling sensation.
Isabella was ticklish and couldn't help but curl up, exclaiming, her big watery eyes wide open, pushing Michael's head away with all her might.
Michael chuckled, "Isabella, I think I've found your weak spot."
Facing Isabella, Michael knelt on the car seat, one hand supporting his weight, the other caressing her neck.
He started with a firm massage, and as her tense muscles gradually relaxed.he transitioned to gentle strokes. His fingertips traced circles from behind her ear to her jaw, slowly and gently.
Isabella's breathing quickened.
Michael lowered his head and kissed along her jawline. His tongue traced her earlobe and the delicate skin behind her ear, moving down to her neck.Gradually, his kisses turned into gentle nibbles, leaving a trail of red marks on her tender skin.
Isabella's body involuntarily slid downward. her hands clutching tightly to·Michael's back. Her neatly trimmed nails pressed through his clothes,digging into his firm muscles.
Michael sat up, pulling her onto his lap. He cupped her small face,his fingertips brushing over her eyebrows, and her delicate nose, and stopping at her lips, gently kneading them.
Isabella winced in pain, a moan escaping her lips.
Michael took the opportunity to kiss her, again and again. Their lips intertwined,gentle yet cautious, with a hint of exploration.
Isabella felt as if a firework had exploded inside her, and a strange yet familiar sensation quickly spread through her body.
She closed her eyes obediently, responding to Michael's kiss.
Their lips rubbed together, tongues entwined, passionately chasing,demanding more from each other.
Michael grew increasingly unsatisfied with just kissing. He lifted Isabella's shirt, grasped her breast, and kneaded it repeatedly. His lips traveled from her jaw to her neck, lingering on her chest, where he licked, sucked, and nibbled, leaving red marks on her tender skin.
Sitting on Michael's lap, Isabella gradually felt his desire swelling between his legs, pressing against her thigh, and she squirmed uncomfortably.
Michael groaned, grabbing her small hand,placing it on his swollen desire between his legs.
Isabella, as if scalded, screamed and tried to pull her hand away, but Michael held it tightly, making her grasp his hot erection.
Michael whispered in her ear, "You started this fire, so you have to put it out."
His warm breath filled her ear, his tongue slidling over her earlobe, making her feel like countless bugs were nibbling at her body.

Isabella felt wronged, defending herself, "I didn't."
But her voice sounded unfamiliar toherself, like she was whining,more
like she was moaning.
Isabella felt embarrassed just hearing herself.
Michael guided her small hand over his desire, while his other hand ventured under her skirt, tearing away the last barrier, roaming freely in the wetness.
Isabella's small hand rose and fel in sync with Michael's rhythm, as if time had stopped and the world had faded away, leaving only the two of them beneath a sky full of stars. The rise and fall of the waves, the wind brushing through the treetops, the ground trembling as a train rushed past,and the eruption of a volcano-all seemed to converge in this moment.
Isabella felt her body soaring, while her soul sank, sinking to the depths of hell.
After a passionate session, Isabella sat on Michael's lap, while Michael buried his face in her chest, and for a long time, neither of them spoke,the car filled with the scent of desire.
Isabella decided to take back her previous thought that Michael was like a big dog. This wasn't a big dog at all. It was a mad dog.
