Chapter 369

Eleanor Langley turned her phone screen toward Vincent Langley. "This paternity test was sent to my email anonymously. There's no lab signature."

The report was clearly visible on the screen.

Vincent's pupils contracted slightly. His fingers tapped the desk unconsciously.

Who was watching from the shadows?

He had always been the one in control. Now, he felt like prey being stalked.

This loss of control pricked at him like thorns.

Only that woman had known the truth back then. Even the medical staff hadn't realized the babies had been switched.

Dead men tell no tales.

"Don't fall for their divide-and-conquer tactic," he said, crushing his cigarette.

Eleanor lowered her gaze. "I didn't want to bring this up, but Isabella found the report. I just want our family to be stable."

Vincent's expression softened. "The Li family's birthday banquet is tonight. I hear they're competing with Sterling Manor. Let's go see the show."

"I'll prepare the gifts. Meet me at the office at five." She hesitated. "Will Isabella and Adrian be joining us?"

At the mention of Adrian Valentine, a cold glint flashed in her eyes.

That boy's indifference toward Isabella suggested he already suspected something.

If Isabella had stolen her daughter's life, then she wouldn't lift a finger to help.

Footsteps sounded upstairs. Isabella peered down curiously.

By the time Eleanor turned around, her face had regained its gentle smile.

CEO Office, Roland Group.

Evelyn Roland opened the surveillance footage Victoria Laurent had sent.

The contents of the photo in Vincent's hand were indistinguishable.

"Keep watching him," she said, closing her laptop.

Outside, dusk settled over the city.

The Imperial Palace Hotel glittered with lights.

Evelyn stepped out of the car in a black dress, pearl earrings swaying near her neck.

"Evelyn." Sebastian Orlando approached quickly, his gaze lingering on her delicate collarbone.

Nathan Aldridge popped up from the other side. "Doesn't my sister look stunning today?"

"Stay away from her," Sebastian frowned.

"Can't stop childhood friends," Nathan smirked triumphantly.

Evelyn watched them bicker, a faint smile touching her lips.

Under the chandelier's glow, their elongated shadows stretched across the banquet hall.
