Charlotte mulled over what Serena had just said. Even though she knew Serena was trying to stir up trouble between her and Frederick, it still got to her.

She walked right past Frederick's car without even glancing his way and hopped into the car the butler had ready for her.

Frederick's eyes narrowed. He thought Charlotte's reaction was a bit odd,but he decided not to dig into it.

After dropping Serena off at the hospital, he figured she'd cling to him for a while, given her usual behavior. But today, Serena was acting out of character.

"Frederick, I know you're super busy. Go ahead and take care of your stuff.I'll handle the check-up on my own."

Frederick was a bit taken aback but didn't argue.

"Alright, just grab a cab to get back after your check-up. I gotta go."

"Don't worry about me."

Serena flashed a sweet smile as she watched Frederick drive away.

Frederick started the car and, as he saw Serena's figure fade in the rearview mirror, he called up one of his guys."Keep a close eye on her. Note everyone she meets and everywhere she goes." "Yes,sir." At the hospital entrance, Serena stood still until Frederick's car was completely out of sight. Then she dropped the smile.

She flagged down a taxi and gave the driver an address for a villa out in the suburbs.

When she arrived, Serena got out, looked around carefully to make sure no one was tailing her, and then went inside the villa.

She headed straight for the dining table, turned a candlestick, and a staircase leading to the basement slowly appeared.

Looking at the dark stairs below, Serena felt a bit nervous but also excited.

She walked down step by step.

The further she went, the dimmer the light became. When she finally reached the basement, she saw a man standing in the center.

Serena swallowed hard and said in a pleading tone, "You finally agreed to see me. I've missed you so much."

"You useless fool, you haven't completed a single task I gave you."

The man's voice was smooth but ice-cold.

"Sir, Frederick is really cautious around me. I've tried several times to get into his study, but I haven't managed it."

Serena moved closer,wrapping herself around the man's arm. "Idiot." His voice was filled with impatience, "You still haven't gotten Frederick to divorce. Without exposing his affair, how can I move to the next step? Can

you handle the consequences?"

"It's my fault. Please punish me."

Serena slowly unbuttoned her clothes, revealing her breasts.

In the dim light, Serena couldn't see his face clearly but still looked at him with longing.

"Slut, Frederick didn't satisfy you?"

The man's voice was slightly hoarse, his eyes filled with lust.

His large hand gripped.her neck tightly, and the intense feeling of suffocation made Serena even more intoxicated.

"Sir, he didn't touch me. I belong to you alone. Please, punish me."

Serena slowly knelt down, rubbing her nose against the man's crotch,teasing him deliberately.

"Oh? Then you must be really frustrated."

"Yes, sir. If I'm not pregnant soon, they'll figure it out. Please give me a child. Let Frederick think it's his. Wouldn't that be a thrill?"

Serena used her mouth to unzip his pants, and his thick penis slapped against her face.

She had stayed by Frederick's side by following this man's instructions, so she believed that as long as he gave her advice, she could solve it.

Serena was completely submissive to this man, both physically and mentally.

"The divorce isn't urgent. But there's something interesting I can tell you."

The man slowly zipped up his pants, a playful smile on his lips.

"Sir,what's the interesting thing?"

"Charlotte is pregnant."

"What! That bitch is pregnant! How is that possible?"

Serena screamed,completely disregarding her attitude.

A crisp sound.

The man slapped her hard, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "Watch your tone, or next time it won't be just a slap."

"Sir, I'm sorry. I was wrong. I won't dare again."

Serena immediately knelt properly, not daring to show her true self anymore.

She cautiously asked, "But how did Charlotte get pregnant? Is it Frederick's child?" Serena was so dlistraught because she couldn't understand. Charlotte definitely didn't want a divorce. So if Charlotte was really pregnant with Frederick's child, how could she not use the child to bind Frederick and demand not to divorce?

"Of course,it's Frederick's."

The man flexed his wrist, his tone cold, "It's really funny. Someone desperately trying to hide her pregnancy is actually pregnant,while someone everyone thought was pregnant is actually not."

"It's my fault."

Serena lowered her head in shame,deeply reflecting on herself.

If it weren't for her incompetence, the man would have already gotten everything he wanted. How could he still need tohide just to meet her?
